How do I watch Fibres?

The film of the stage play, Fibres, will be available to watch online from 25 November 2020. Book your free watch at home ticket by clicking the ‘BOOK TO WATCH’ button at the top of the page. Once your booking is complete, you will receive a confirmation email with a link to watch the film.

Can I share my link with other people?

Please do not share the link with others or share the link on social media.

How much do tickets cost?

It is free to watch Fibres. You need to book a watch at home ticket to access the film. You will be asked if you would like to make an optional donation.

Where is my donation going?

Your donation supports the Citizens Theatre and Stellar Quines who are two Scottish theatre companies and have co-produced the film of Fibres. You can find out more on the donate page where you will have the option to support both companies.

Can I add gift aid to my donation?

If you are a UK taxpayer you will be given the option to add gift aid to your donation.

Can I book a ticket by phone?

No, tickets are only available online as the Citizens Theatre Box Office is closed due to the Covid-19 restrictions. However, we are very happy to assist you with your booking. Please email fibres@citz.co.uk with your query and contact details and we will arrange for someone to call you.

What happens to my data when I register?

Your watch at home ticket is booked securely through the Citizens Theatre ticketing website. Your data will reside with the Citizens Theatre in adherence with their data policy. If you choose to make a donation, your data for this transaction will reside with the organisation you choose to support. You can find out more about the Citizens Theatre’s privacy policy.

Several people in my house want to watch the film, do I have to book multiple tickets?

No, you only need to book one ticket per device. Tickets are free. If you can afford it, please consider a donation.

Who made the show?

The film of the stage play Fibres has been co-produced by the Citizens Theatre and Stellar Quines and has been filmed by Solus Productions. Find out more.

How long is the film?

Fibres has a running time of 1 hour and 20 minutes.

How long do I have to watch the film?

Fibres will be available to watch for 4 weeks from 25 November - 23 December 2020.

What if I can't watch the show on the 25 November?

No problem, the film will premiere online at 7pm on the 25 November. It will then be available to watch for four weeks. You can pause, rewind, or rewatch the show as many times as you like whilst it's available!

I didn’t book a ticket before the premiere, will I still be able to watch it?

Yes, if you book a ticket any time before Wednesday 23 December you will receive the link to access the film in your sales receipt. It will be available to watch from 7pm on 25th November to 7pm on 23 December.

Can I watch the film on my TV?

The film of Fibres is hosted on YouTube. There are several ways to connect your computer or mobile device to your TV. You can use a HDMI cable or cast via a device such as Chromecast, Amazon Firestick or NowTV.  For more information see our How To Watch guide

Will Fibres be accessible?

We want the film of Fibres to be as accessible as possible. The film will be fully captioned, please email us on fibres@citz.co.uk and let us know if you have any access queries.

I have been affected by asbestosis, how do I get advice?

Action on Asbestos provides practical advice and support and hosts monthly support group meetings throughout Scotland. Is Fibres suitable for young children?

Fibres is suitable for young people aged 14+ as it contains strong language.

Is the film of Fibres available for schools to access?
